Australia has some of the most beautiful harbours in the World and so it is no surprise that many Australians own boats and are part of Yacht or Rowing Clubs. It is also no surprise that many companies choose our beautiful harbours as the backdrop of their corporate events with many companies hosting Regatta Days for their staff or clients. A Regatta Day is basically a competition or a series of competitions involving boats, yachts or even canoes. Most companies will have their staff or clients involved in the actual competition by being part of a sailing team. It is a fun day with lunch normally hosted on a central boat or at a restaurant on the harbour.
As it is such an exciting day many companies also choose to commemorate the day with gifts and prizes for participants. Below is a list of items we have put together:
Message in a Bottle Keyring
The message in a bottle keyring would work as a fantastic and unique invitation idea. We can print your logo on the actual capsule but we can also personalise the message inside even down to the person’s name of who you would like to invite. You can print their name on one side and on the other side either all the event details or just a URL of a website which has all the details. We will slip your printed message inside the capsule and then seal it up with the cork. The size of the item is 90 x 30 x 30mm. The logo print size on the actual capsule is 45 x 15mm and we use pad printing as the branding method.
Montego Bay Waterpoof Backpack
Now that you have confirmed the attendance of your guests you really need to deck them out with all the proper gear so they can have an enjoyable day out. The first item is a waterproof backpack with an integrated bottle pocket. This is great for your guests to store any items they don’t want to get wet. The bag is made from 600D polyestor and 190T lining. The size is 35 x 25cm. Colours include Navy, Red, Orange, White and Sky Blue. The bag can be branded with your logo using either embroidery, screen printing or a heat transfer.
Longbeach Sailing Jacket
The Longbeach Sailing Jacket is going to give your event a professional feel. It is a wind and waterproof sailing jacket with mesh lining to improve breathe ability. Front pockets are water-locked and fleece lined, bottom sleeves are adjustable with Velcro and have hidden cuffs with neoprene. The jacket has pre-curved sleeves, reflexes and waterproof zippers. Bottom hem and waist have elastic drawstrings with endings, inside front pockets to avoid hanging straps. There is also a “stay in place” strap to keep the jacket in place during physical activities, in particular sailing. Backside of the jacket is reinforced and longer than front. The jacket comes with two separate hoods, one fluorescent and one navy, both adjustable in size. Outer: 100% nylon with PU-coated inside. Lining: 100% polyester. Colours: Navy. Sizes: XS-XXXL
Waterproof Neck Wallet
This transparent water-resistant wallet is great for name tag holders as well as safely storing valuables like mobile phones. The size is 25 x 16cm and it comes in Purple or Light Blue.

Waterproof 35mm Camera
To record all the fun from the day you can hand out waterproof 35mm cameras. The camera has a manual wind and free focus. It also has an optical zoom of 28mm/9.0. Colours available include White, Yellow, Green and Orange.
It is important when you are spending the day in the sun to be sun-safe. Provide your guests with plenty of sunscreen and shade to sit in but another great way to be sun-safe and promote your brand is with a cap. We have a variety of different caps but below are some ones we have that fit in well with the theme of water:
Cotton Visor Sandwich Peak
Visors are very popular for sailing clubs. One size fits most and they can be branded using embroidery or screen printing.
Cap with Attachment
This cap is great for Regatta Days because the attachment has an alligator safety clip which can be attached to your clothing and prevent your cap from blowing away in the breeze. The cap itself is made from heavy brushed cotton, has a sandwich peak and metal eyelets. The rear fastener is a buckle.
Seeker Cap
The Seeker Cap has a blue wave design incorporated on the peak. It is made of heavy brushed cotton with a structured 6 panel design. The eyelets are embroidered and the fastener is made of velcro.
Wave Cap
The Wave Cap incorporates a sublimated design on its peak. The rest of the cap is made from Heavy Brushed Cotton with a velcro fastener.
Nautical Cap
This Nautical Cap will get all budding sailors into the spirit of your event. Made from microfibre the cap is fitted and comes in 2 sizes – S/M or L/XL.

Sunglass Straps
Another casualty of Regatta Days is a lot of lost sunglasses. These sunglass straps are made of 2mm thick neoprene and has a 40cm Diameter. We have a wide range of neoprene colours available including Black, Navy, Royal, Sky, Lime, Fluro Green, Bottle, Brown, Purple, Maroon, Red, Hot Pink, Orange, Fluro Orange, Yellow, Khaki, Grey and White. The minimum order is 300 per colour.
Wine Glass Holders
Wine Glass Holders are sure to come in handy at your Regatta Day. Even if you are just on the spectator boat you may need both your hands to stabalise yourself so this Wine Glass Holder will definitely come in handy.
Can and Bottle Sucker
Along the same lines as the Wine Glass Holder we have the Can and Bottle Sucker. It is a small neoprene sleeve that wraps around your can or bottle so that when you place it on a surface the neoprene acts as a suction device and keeps it perfectly in place. Floating Cooler
Still along the lines of keeping your drinks safe we have the floating cooler. The floating cooler is made from PVC and holds 6 cans. It also includes a cooling element. The size is 210 x 110 x 75mm.
Life Vest Stubby Cooler
And the last product in our drink accessories section is the Rescue Vest Bottle. This is a great product to push the message of safety at the Regatta Day. You could print a message like “Be boat safe at the XYZ Regatta Day, all participants will be required to wear a life vest”. The vest is made from 3mm neoprene with a lycra trimming and plastic clip. When flat the product measures 105mm(w) and 130mm(h).
Thunder Sticks
If your Regatta Day is going to have a lot of spectators watching from the shore than Thunder Sticks are a great way to add colour to your event. They are 10cm(w) and 63cm(l). They are supplied as a pair and include a straw for inflation. Colours available include: Black, Navy, Royal, Sky, Aqua, Red, Orange, Clear, White and Yellow.
