What the Exodus Wear Jackets & Hoodies team would do if we could design an Eclipse Hoodie for the Twilight Merchandise range

The Exodus Wear Jackets & Hoodies team have been eagerly looking forward to the release of the third movie installment in the Twilight Saga and with the premiere of Eclipse happening in just a couple of days we decided to pass the time by putting together what we think would be the ultimate hoodie designs for the Eclipse merchandise range.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT LICENSED TO SELL TWILIGHT/ECLIPSE MERCHANDISE AND THE FOLLOWING DESIGNS WE HAVE JUST DONE FOR FUN FROM A FAN PERSPECTIVE.

Exodus Wear Jackets & Hoodies are completely custom hoodies and while we normally design Hoodies & Jackets for Schools and Sporting Clubs we can design for other industries also. All our Hoodies & Jackets actually start white and we use a printing method called Sublimation to print the design on to the material. This means we are not restricted to material colours and we can even print intricate designs or photos. Because we completely custom make them there are no design limitations and so the team let our imaginations go wild when putting these concepts together for the Eclipse Hoodie. These first couple of designs are pretty basic where we would just use photos of the main stars – Edward, Bella & Jacob.

The design above also incorporates wolf ears onto the hood.
The whole concept of a solar Eclipse inspired us a lot and helped us to come up with the next idea. In this design we would use a glow in the dark print for the moon so that at night time it will glow and really jump out of the design.

This next design would actually be a reversible hoodie where on one side you see clouds and the moon at night time and then the sun and clouds during the day on the opposite side. We started to get very deep when we designed this one! It is meant to represent the relationships Bella has with Edward and Jacob. Much of Eclipse will deal with her struggle of choosing between the two men in her life. This Hoodie takes the complication out of everything…Bella can decide her mood and make her choice by deciding which side to wear.

Night & Day reversible Eclipse Hoodie design

One of the great features of the Exodus Hoodies range is that you can actually print in the lining of our Hoodies & Jackets so we thought it would be awesome if in the Eclipse Hoodies range you had a design with popular quotes from the movie printed in the lining. Along the same lines you could also print all the actors and actresses names in the hood lining. With schools we normally print all the students names in the hood lining as you can see in the example below:

We love using different embellishments in our designs like sequins or applique and we know Twilight fans are divided between whether they are TEAM EDWARD or TEAM JACOB, so in the following Baseball jacket designs we have used an applique letter on the front with either J or E to subtly show whose team you are on. For the Team Edward jacket we have put “EST. 1901” on the back as this is the year Edward was born. On the back of the Team Jacob jacket we put “Hailin from The Res” to represent the Reservation where Jacob lives.

Below is an example Exodus Baseball jacket using applique that we have done for a school.

We also got inspired by the Cullens baseball outfits featured in the first movie and used that to come up with a Baseball Jacket for the Cullen family baseball team.

A variation to the above design would be to embroider the Cullens crest onto the Baseball Jacket.
Because our Hoodies are completely custom made there are no limitations to the materials we can use. We wanted to do a Hoodie design that everyone in Team Jacob would love and so the following Hoodie incorporates a fake fur lining in the hood!
At JEM Promotional Products we do a whole range of other products and if we had the chance to design the whole Eclipse Merchandise range one of the products we would include is a Decision Maker to choose between Edward or Jacob.
