JEM Promotional Products have just added another innovative product to our range – The Antibac Pen. The Anti-bacterial pen kills 99.9% of harmful bacteria and viruses from your hands all while you hold the pen and write. The pen is an effective against MRSA, C.Difficile, Salmonella Enteriditis, Norovirus and more.
When the pen is manufactured in Germany there is a unique active agent moulded into the pen itself, not just applied afterwards. The other name for this pen is the ‘Living Pen’ because it is constantly re-cleansing itself and will not adversely affect any skin type when in direct contact. The concept of anti-bacterial products in itself is not a new one, some products like tooth brushes and shoes are antibacterial, however the Antibac Pen is the first writing instrument with this feature.
The antibacterial pen is made in Germany and has taken more than 2 years to develop, undergoing rigorous research and testing. The active agent has been tested against the most virulent bacteria and viruses to the following standards:

• BS EN20645
• FDA (U.S. Food & Drug Administration)
• BPD (E.U. Bioncide Product Directive)
• HSE (U.K. Health & Safety Executive)
• FDAS (Food & Drug Analytical Services LTD)
• EN71/3 & EN71/9

This pen is great not only for the medical field in places like hospitals and doctor’s surgeries, it can work in any office environment. I know whenever one of our staff members gets sick the next thing you know the whole team is sick. While this pen won’t cure your cold it may help prevent the spread around the office.
Despite the unique nature of this pen we can still brand it with your company logo. We don’t use our standards methods however, the pens need to be branded in Germany under clinical conditions. Therefore the lead-time is longer than our standard pens it will take approximately 90 days to produce your job from artwork approval stage. The minimum order quantity for the Antibac Pen is 1,000 and they currently only come in white.
