Promotional Products Play Starring Role in He’s Just Not That Into You!

On the weekend I was watching He’s Just Not That Into you starring Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, Drew Barrymore, Scarlett Johannson and a myriad of other stars and I was so surprised to hear a number of references to Promotional Products. Connor, who is played by Kevin Connolly is a Real Estate Agent and there is a lot of reference to Real Estate Promotional Products like Frisbees and Coffee Mugs.
Gigi, played by Ginnifer Goodwin goes on a date with Connor but he never calls after the date and so she decides to go to a bar he hangs out at a lot in the hope that she will be able to bump into him. Connor’s friend Alex (Justin Long) actually owns the bar and strikes up conversation with Gigi only to find out that she has come to the bar to find Connor on the pretex that she has to return his pen. It is actually a Promotional Pen for a Funeral Parlour. Alex promises to return the pen to Connor but doesn’t believe for a second that it is his pen and so doesn’t return it.
In a series of twists and turns Gigi actually falls for Alex who is a bit of a player who has been teaching Gigi the little things that guys say or do which can show you that he is just not that into you. Unfortunately for Gigi Alex does not return the feelings or he doesn’t think he does until he finds the situation reversed on him where he is the one waiting by the phone for her to call and leaving ridiculous voice messages.

At the end of the movie when Alex realises that he actually loves Gigi he turns up at her door on the pretex that he has to return the pen to her and they end up getting together and living happily ever after : )
So in this instance a Promotional Pen had the power to bring two people together; now that is the Power of Promotional Products!
