I got a rather exiting package in the mail today and being in marketing it can be hard to find a different and interesting marketing campaign to get excited about. It consisted of a mail tube and then inside was what looked like a cartoon poster wrapped around a hollow-tube.
It is hard to see from the photo above but the poster looked pretty thin so boy was a surprised when the poster turned out to be around 3.5m long. The office tape measure is about half that length so our measurements are probably a bit dodgy.
It is really important to communicate the same message across mediums so if you have a promotion where you are giving away a gift with purchase in-store it is a good idea to make sure your point of purchase material communicates the promotion as well.
Direct Mail campaigns can be very successful, in this situation my attention was definitely caught and I think that is the true way to measure whether a campaign has been effective or not.
