MasterChef has become a national craze in Australia. Its what everyone is talking about and what everyone is watching. The show has inspired people to go and learn how to cook fabulous food. MasterChef has been viewed by 1.6 million people since its launch. The Logies has been classed as televisions night of nights but this year MasterChef continued to reign supreme, garnering an audience of 1.53 million compared to the Logies 1.4 million. Despite Nine throwing all its weight and talent behind the broadcast, the reality cooking show proved too tasty for viewers. MasterChefs incredible ratings run was reflected in its win as most popular reality program, while one of its judges, Matt Preston, earned the peer-voted award as most outstanding new talent.
MasterChef has taken the next step and now has Junior MasterChef. With the challenges being as big as what their older counterparts faced, the competition level among these Junior MasterChefs is just as high as they face Pressure and Invention Tests plus Team Challenges, all for precious award points from the judges. Junior Master Chef will return to your television screens on Sunday 17 October.
