Over the years I have seen many changes in the Promotional Products industry, mostly in response to the demands of our clients and their needs. Many products come and go depending on trends and fashions but year by year one area that is definitely showing continued growth of products is the environmentally friendly products available in our range.
It is great to see that many companies are now interested in reducing their carbon footprint and try to move towards sustainable living goals.
Personally I love to look at the products through, what might be considered over critical eyes, by checking whether they measure up to the equivalent non- environmentally friendly product and I’m really happy to find that most times they are as good if not better! Quality, Style and Function are important no matter what product we are talking about so it’s great to see so many products that more than deliver on all the criteria I just mentioned.
Some of my favourite products at the moment are the Jute Tote Bags. I think I would be willing to buy one just for looks alone but when you find out that it biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly that just happens to be the icing on the cake. I think we will all continue to see many more promotional products that will be made of environmentally friendly materials and maybe at some point that will be the norm. Only time will tell.
