Campaign Spotlight: Mini ‘tattoo’ transfer giveaway with every bulk pack of Nutella tubs

What is it?
This product is a miniature transfer that when applied with pressure leaves a temporary image on your clothing.

Why I like this promotional products campaign:

• Instant reward for the purchaser (you didn’t have to send away anything)
• Fairly unique – its not just a standard tattoo
• High involvement product. Kids will love it, and more than likely their parents will get involved to apply the transfer for them
• Cost effective with a very low unit cost
• Easily distributed inside Nutella bulk packs

Could they have done better?
Probably not. Ferrero know their market, and over the years have used some clever promotional products – one that springs to mind is the branding of glasses filled with Nutella instead of their standard Nutella jar.

Once you’ve run out of Nutella, you’re left with a long-lasting, high usage promotional product! (And by the way, most places I’ve visited seem to have one of these in their kitchen cupboard!!)
