Jarrah is a unique eucalypt growing only in the south west corner of Australia.
Historically, jarrah’s hard-wearing nature saw massive quantities exported as railway sleepers and to cobble some of the great cities of Europe.
In Australia, the timber has been extensively used in construction. One of the best examples is the Busselton jetty which has been in service for well over a century and extends 1857 metres into the Indian Ocean.
